Mapeo de la Estructura Intelectual de la Investigación sobre Capital de Riesgo, Startups y Género: un Análisis Bibliométrico

Resumen

El acceso al capital de riesgo (venture capital, VC) desempeña un papel fundamental en el crecimiento de las Startups; sin embargo, las mujeres emprendedoras continúan enfrentando importantes barreras para acceder a esta fuente de financiamiento. Aunque la investigación sobre VC, startups y género ha experimentado una expansión considerable en los últimos años, el conocimiento generado permanece fragmentado. En este contexto, el presente estudio analiza la estructura intelectual y la evolución de este campo de investigación mediante un análisis bibliométrico de 152 publicaciones indexadas en Scopus y Web of Science. Utilizando Bibliometrix/Biblioshiny, el análisis incorporó técnicas de evaluación del desempeño científico, análisis de citas, coautoría, coocurrencia de palabras clave y estructura temática. Los resultados revelan un campo en rápida consolidación, organizado en torno a tres principales corrientes de investigación: las brechas de género en el acceso al capital de riesgo, los sesgos de los inversionistas y los procesos de evaluación, y el papel de los recursos estratégicos y los ecosistemas emprendedores. Asimismo, el análisis evidencia una transición desde estudios centrados en las desigualdades en el acceso al financiamiento hacia enfoques que enfatizan la legitimidad, la señalización, la diversidad y la inclusión financiera. Finalmente, el estudio propone un marco integrador e identifica prometedoras líneas de investigación para futuros estudios.
