Abstract

The Information and Communication Management allows us to know, collect and link the data used in the different areas that make up the institutions; correlating all the processes that intervene in the same and safe, in this way, accurate and timely information for decision making. In Cuba, the biotechnology sector has developed in the last years of the generation, but it acquires an importance not only quantitatively, but it is mainly about sectors that are in the area of the knowledge economy. A sample of the aforementioned is the Center for Molecular Immunology (CIM), one of the most outstanding institutions within the sector. The CIM is a full-cycle biotechnology institution, forming part of the Superior Organization of Business Management (OSDE) BioCubaFarma. It is dedicated to basic research, development, production and commercialization of biotechnological products against cancer and other diseases of the immune system. The objective of the following article is the realization of a diagnosis that constitutes a practical guide that contains the dissimilar data that circulate through the standard channels of communication of the CIM. The research provides a practical contribution to the entity under study as it shows the main sources of information of the CIM and the recipients of the same.
